The book is set in first person perspective from Scott's perspective. It was interesting and throughout the book Scott really has some character growth. It was interesting to read, and you found yourself questioning things that you might have always taken for granted. It was something that I enjoyed reading because it made you question things that had been set in stone. Not to mention you get to meet a lot of new people, of different religions and cultures. It gives you a good look into a new perspective.



Not to mention that throughout the book Scott does seem to do some growing up and learning. He's not just on a wild goose chase trying to find his brother and finding lots of trouble in between. He's questioning things, coming to his own conclusions and just growing more mature. It was a different journey, one that keeps the reader engaged.

But it's not all serious. There are a lot of humorous moments where you can't help but laugh at the sheer craziness of the adventure that Scott is on. Especially when he meets back up with his brother, who seems to be trouble no matter where he is.
